Our trusted companions provide practical help, companionship, and emotional support for older people across Shropshire.

A trusted companion delivers non-medical, personalised support based on your individual needs. This can include sharing a conversation over a cuppa, helping with light household tasks, or accompanying you to medical appointments.

Our companions can spend time chatting with you, supporting you with hobbies like crafts, puzzles, games or reading, and helping you to stay socially connected. They can also offer you a listening ear to provide reassurance during emotional challenges.

Practical help could include shopping, collecting prescriptions, and preparing simple lunches like sandwiches, or heating a ready meal. Our companions can also support you on outings, such as short walks or attending social activities, which can significantly boost your wellbeing.

All our trusted companions are DBS-checked and have provided strong references, ensuring you a safe, confidential, high-quality service.
