Our partnership with Caremark Solihull

We are delighted to announce a new partnership with local care provider, Caremark Solihull. The collaboration will see Caremark Solihull support our charity through a range of activities including sponsorship, staff fundraising challenges, community events, and collecting the iconic little woolly hats for the charity’s Big Knit campaign.

The partnership got off to a high-flying start when Caremark Solihull’s Managing Director, Herkesh Malhi, completed a daring tandem skydive, raising over £800. Herkesh is no stranger to supporting Age UK Solihull; he has volunteered with us for several years, initially as a befriender and more recently by lending a hand at one of our lunch clubs.

Age UK Solihull supports older residents across the borough by providing vital services such as advice and information, companionship, wellbeing support and social activities, helping to combat loneliness and isolation.

Rebecca Jacob, Fundraising Manager at Age UK Solihull, said: "We’re so excited to be partnered with Caremark Solihull. Herkesh’s skydive and the wider support from the Caremark team will make a real difference to older people locally. Every pound raised, every hour volunteered, and every hat knitted helps us reach more people who need our help, whether that’s a friendly chat, expert advice or a warm and welcoming lunch club. This partnership shows the power of the community coming together to support older residents in later life."
