AD Band Spring Celebration Concert

Solihull’s symphonic wind band, AD Concert Band, will mark an incredible milestone as they present their Spring Celebration Concert on Saturday 21 March at 3:00pm, at the beautiful St Philip’s Church, Manor Road, Dorridge.

This special performance celebrates 50 years of the band, bringing together musicians past and present for an uplifting afternoon of music. Audiences can expect a joyful and varied programme showcasing the band’s rich history, musical talent, and community spirit.

All profits from the concert will go to Age UK Solihull, a local charity that provides vital support, advice, and companionship to older people across the borough. Every ticket sold helps make a real difference in the lives of Solihull’s older residents.

Steve Marlow from AD Concert Band said: "Reaching our 50th anniversary is a huge moment for the band, and we’re delighted to begin the celebrations with our Spring Concert in support of Age UK Solihull. It’s a chance to look back on five decades of music-making while raising funds for a cause that means a great deal to the local community."

Their concerts are always a highlight, and the funds raised will help us continue providing vital services to older people in the borough, from befriending and lunch clubs to advice and practical support. Adult tickets are £8 in advance or £10 on the door, with free admission for under 18s.
