Help make this Christmas a little brighter...
Help make this Christmas a little brighter for an older person in Solihull by donating a gift. You could make your gift even more personal by adding a label with a festive message (please do not wrap the gifts as we need to be able to see what they are.)
We are collecting selection packs, biscuits and chocolates, which will be given to older people who are experiencing loneliness or financial hardship this festive season, or who have had a recent fall.
Donations can be dropped to us or one of the businesses who are kindly collecting donations for us:
- Age UK Solihull, Lower Ground Floor, The Core, Central Library Building, Homer Road, Solihull B91 3RG (please donate by Friday 21 November)
- Morgan Parkes Recruitment - contact the team to arrange local collections (please donate by Friday 21 November)
Alternatively, visit Dunelm Solihull and take a tag off their Delivering Joy Christmas tree, and buy a gift for one of our befriending clients who lives on their own (please donate by Friday 21 November).
For more information, or if you have several gifts for us and would like us to collect them from you, please email events@ageuksolihull.org.uk or leave a message on 0121 704 7842 and we will get back to you.
Thank you also to Paragon Banking, National Gas Metering, the residents of Lady Byron Lane, Meriden C of E School, and Shirley Heath Junior School, who are also collecting gifts for our appeal.
