Age UK Solihull and Solihull Sustain organised a 'Rio Carnival' Charity Ball on Friday 8 July 2016 at St Johns Hotel.

It was the fourth charity ball that Age UK Solihull have organised with Sustain.

The night was a fantastic success, with Shirley Sea Cadets serving drinks, our carnival girls performance as well as 'Someone at the Door' Samba Band setting the scene for the night. We had 'The Score' band as our musical entertainment for the night and also had various fundraising going on from our raffle to auctions.

We are delighted to announce that this year, we managed to raise £16,200! Our record amount.

We'd like to thank all those involved that helped put this event together, all our sponsors, those that donated raffle prizes and many more.
