Age UK Solihull held it's annual Volunteer's Lunch at Oliver Bird Hall. This is the 8th year that Volunteer Co-ordinator, Sue, has organised this lunch. The event is also attended by the Mayor of Solihull, Cllr Mr Mike Robinson and Mayoress of Solihull, Mrs Jenny Robinson.

It is our way of saying 'thank you' to our volunteers for their hard work and support over the years. Without them, we would not be able to run our charity. Our long standing volunteers were given certificates for their achievements.

We currently have just under 300 recruited volunteers and they cover all areas such as our Community advice hubs, charity shops, volunteer befriending and fundraising.
