Age UK Campaign win for care home residents!

We've had a big campaign win! Age UK are absolutely delighted to tell you that on Monday the Prime Minister announced that by the end of the year, care home residents can have in person visits. He said that ‘residents will be able to have two visitors, who can be tested twice a week’. This was an incredible sector wide effort and really does show the difference we can make together. 

Being separated from loved ones in care homes has caused incredible anguish, we have heard from thousands of people who have had heart-breaking experiences of being separated from their loved ones. You can read some in our recent media coverage although we are sure that many of you will have heard these directly or possibly experienced it yourself.
