Pay Respects at home on Remembrance Sunday

Stockport residents are being encouraged to pay their respects at home on Remembrance Sunday in line with national guidance.
On Sunday 8 November, a private civic commemoration will take place - this event will be filmed and shared live on the Council’s website.
There will be no public events taking place this Remembrance Sunday and the War Memorial Art Gallery will be closed to the public on this day. Visitors wishing to visit the War Memorial Art Gallery to pay their respects in person from Monday 9th November can pre-book tickets here.
But by working in partnership with the Armed Forces community, we want to ensure that everyone can reflect and remember safely.
