Christmas Carol Service
Our annual Carol Service takes place at Guildford Cathedral.
Age UK Surrey's annual Carol Service will be on Wednesday, December 16th, at 11.00am.
The service will include traditional carols, songs and readings. Refreshments and mince pies will be available from 10.30am.
Everyone is welcome. Entry is free for all.
If you are part of a large group and a wheelchair space is needed, do let us know.
This popular annual event attracts approximately 700 older residents across Guildford, surrounding boroughs, and people living in care homes. Our Carol Service is often the only one they can attend as the cathedral provides plenty of space with good access, particularly for wheelchair users and those who are less mobile.
Last year's Age UK Surrey's annual Christmas Carol Service at Guildford Cathedral was truly memorable. "The Carol Service gets better and better", was a comment from many. Hundreds of people attended, including Mayors from across the county, and enjoyed outstanding performances from the Guildford Cathedral Singers, Rock Choir conducted by Tom George, Tormead Prep School Choir and organist Jozef Gaszka. The choirs lifted the roof, and it was a very special morning.
