Many of us are living longer, but we’re often doing so with multiple long-term health conditions. While genetics influences how we age, our daily habits also play a crucial role. Adopting healthier lifestyles earlier on in our lives could increase our chances of a rich and full later life – even small steps make a big difference. We also set an example for our children to do the same.

With our ‘Age better TOGETHER in Surrey’ Campaign, we want to get people thinking, talking, and taking action that will help them in the years to come.

Moving more keeps you stronger and fitter for longer.  We encourage people to try something new from the incredible range of events and activities on offer. Whether you bolster your brain through team sports, keep your heart healthy with swimming, improve coordination through dance, or build balance with hula hooping, we’ll show you how every move you make helps you enjoy a healthier life, now and in the future.
