Thirty-six hikers took on the Surrey Three Peaks challenge on Saturday 5 September, raising more than £10,000 to support Age UK Surrey’s vital services for older people across the county.

The group completed a demanding 25km route with 1,060m of elevation, scaling Box Hill, Leith Hill and Holmbury Hill as part of the fundraising challenge.

Funds raised from the event will help Age UK Surrey provide important services and projects, including specialist dementia support, befriending, information and advice, and planning for later life.

Age UK Surrey would like to thank everyone who took part, donated and supported the walkers, helping to make the day a memorable success. We’d also like to offer thanks to Back on Track Fitness for guiding, motivating and supporting participants throughout the route.
