Exercise Classes

There are many exercise classes and groups running throughout Sutton. From tennis to line dancing, there is a class for everyone!

We are proud to be Activity Partners with local community organisations who deliver some great activities to help people to stay active.

Walking Tennis is a gentler pace of play which allows the game to be played by all. This activity offers an easy way to enjoy tennis which is inclusive to all.

Led by a fully qualified coach, the sessions offers a fun way to stay active.

Starting from September, there will be 2 classes running weekly.

Ladies sessions - Wednesdays, 10:00am-11:00am

All Welcome - Thursdays, 10:30am-11:30am

For our Thursday group, theose living with a long term health condition will have access to transport.

Free to attend. Booking is essential

The Change Foundation

The Change Foundation run a programme of walking sports at their centre in Wallington. From football to netball, there is something for everyone! Led by a qualified sports coach, the walking sports programme offer activities at a slower pace and are a great opportunity to try something new.

Strength and Balance classes

Focussing on Strength and Balance in classes can really help to keep muscles bones and joints strong and can help to reduce the impact of falls.

We are proud to partner with local community groups who are already providing classes with a Strength and Balance focus.

Chair Yoga teaches basic yoga postures with the aid of a chair, so you don’t have to get down on the floor to a mat. Focusing on Strength and Balance this class with help you to stay stronger for longer.

Taught by a qualified instructor.

Carshalton Beeches Baptist Free Church - Google Maps

Chair Yoga runs on Mondays 10:20am-11:20am at Carshalton Beeches Baptist Church.

Booking is required. Classes cost £10 with membership options available and 50% off your first class.
