Up to £3.7 billion of benefits go unclaimed by older people every year.

Are you one of those missing out?

Some benefits, like the Winter Fuel Payment, are entirely dependent on age - and not at all related to income. You could discover you may be eligible for Attendance Allowance, Housing Benefit or Council Tax Support.

"Thank you for your help with resolving our issues with Pension Credit. And we did finally get the Attendance Allowance for my husband!" - Mrs. F

Even if you think you're getting everything you're entitled to, it doesn't hurt to check - and we can help.

Our trained staff and volunteers can assist by:

  • Conducting thorough benefit checks
  • Provide information and advice on types of benefits, and how to apply
  • Assistance to apply for benefits and other payments, e.g. by helping to complete forms
  • Support to re-apply for benefits, or helping to challenge a decision
  • Carrying out home visits if you are unable to come to our offices
