We have around 90 clients attending our 131 Club each week; we’re open from Monday to Saturday as it’s such a popular service. Older people attend for lots of reasons, and we’re all about making sure they have a good time, doing activities they enjoy with people they like and having a nice hot meal. One of the biggest issues facing older people is loneliness as two-fifths of all older people (about 3.9 million) say the television is their main company (Age UK, 2014). We feel proud to offer our 131 Club — bringing older people together and so much more.
