Ask Us Wirral - Information and Advice
Without our trained volunteer advisers, we could not continue to meet the demand for advice. Our information and advice service looks at a client’s situation holistically, as opposed to looking at their problems in isolation from one another. Advisers are given free training, both formal and on-the-job. Our volunteers enjoy meeting new people and feel valued and have said that we are a friendly and caring charity.
- We would like you to commit to a minimum of 1 full day or 2 half days a week.
- Be a good listener and enjoy helping people.
- Have a good telephone manner and basic computing skills.
- Have reasonable numeracy and literacy skills.
- Be open minded and non-judgmental.

To visit our clients within their home and help complete benefit forms such as Attendance Allowance and Blue Badge forms. You will be fully trained to complete the forms and supported in this role.
Home Visitor Chaperone
