Reminder Finders
This service has been developed to deliver a 12 week programme of MCST Maintenance Cognitive stimulation Therapy) aimed at clients who have recently received a diagnosis of dementia. Reminder Finders will provide a range of stimulating and enjoyable activities as well as the opportunity to interact socially, have fun and make new friends.
Who can attend?
Reminder Finders is aimed at people who have mild to moderate dementia. Anyone who has recently had a diagnosis can be referred to the service. Our service coordinator will invite you and your family to the Devonshire Resource Centre in Birkenhead to tell you more about the group, and to assess your suitability for the group.
Do I have to attend all sessions?
To get the benefit of the full programme it is important that you attend all the sessions. Please talk to us in advance if you know you are unable to make one week
Cost
A small contribution will be required towards the cost of a light lunch.
