Buddy Groups

Age UK Bradford District runs several Buddy Groups, all designed to reduce social isolation and boost wellbeing through regular, informal gatherings in accessible venues.

Current Buddy Group Locations & Meeting Times

• Bingley Buddy Group – Wednesdays, 11:00am at Canalside Health Centre Café (Level 2), Bingley BD16 4RP.

• Thornbury Buddy Group – Wednesdays, 1:30pm at Morrisons Café, Rushton Ave, Bradford BD3 7HZ.

• 5 Lane Ends Buddy Group – Thursdays, 10:00am–12:00pm at Morrisons Café, 275 Bradford Rd, Idle, BD10 8EG.

Bradford City Friendship Café
In collaboration with partners, our Bradford City group runs every Thursday, 11:00am–3:00pm at the City Hub (36 Valley Parade). This dementia-friendly space includes films, games, puzzles, knitting and more - plus free parking in the Directors’ car park.

All of these groups are open to anyone aged 50+ who wants to socialise in a relaxed environment. No booking is necessary - just come along and enjoy!
