Our Sensory Impairment Friendship Service supports older people living with sight loss, hearing loss or both across Bradford District, including Keighley and Shipley, who would welcome companionship and friendship support.

We start by listening to what matters to you, pairing you with a trained Social Companion/Buddy who will provide tailored one-to-one support to match your needs. This might include a friendly chat at home, help with reading or using a phone for example, enjoying a walk together, or building confidence to join local activities.

Supported by Bradford District Council, the service helps people build friendships, maintain independence and enjoy the things that matter to them.
