Cover Retail Assistant

Bradford District - Shipley, Wrose and Idle

Part time - 7 hours per week

Minimum 6 months fixed term contract

Our Community Hubs are warm welcoming spaces where people can get the information, help, support or advice they need for their situation; come in to volunteer their time or pick up a bargain in the retail section. Each of our six Community Hubs is working towards delivering a range of functions including Information, Help and Support, Advice and Casework, Community Activities and Events alongside Fundraising.

We are currently looking to recruit a Cover Retail Assistant to work as part of our team, providing support across 3 of our 6 hubs: Shipley, Wrose and Idle. This role will be a minimum of 6 months contract and working 1 day per week, with some flexibility required to cover staff holidays.

The key elements of the role are providing an excellent service to customers, sorting and managing donations and supporting volunteers. There will also be Hub opening and closing responsibilities, together with operating the till and banking.

Retail experience is preferred, along with a positive attitude and excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.

Annual Salary £23,492.04 (FTE), £4,444.44 (Actual)

7 hours per week

5 weeks holiday plus bank holidays pro rata
