Alex is running the Dorset Invader Half Marathon and raising funds for Age UK Bristol on Sunday 29th July. Alex is a former employee of Age UK Bristol, having worked as Bristol Ageing Better Programme Administrator, and now she is one of our supporters.
On her fundraising page she says:
"Having worked there with the lovely team until recently I said I would do this as a goodbye gesture! Age UK Bristol do fantastic work for our community helping those more mature of us get benefits, stay independent in their homes, influencing policy, putting on the Celebrating Age Festival, managing Bristol Ageing Better - a huge programme of projects for older people and much more."
We are very excited and thankful for Alex to consider Age UK Bristol as her chosen charity to raise funds for.
