Compare the Market Hosts Christmas Dinner for Local Day Centres

Three local Day Centres were welcomed for a festive Christmas dinner hosted by Compare the Market, marking the second year of what is becoming a much-loved seasonal tradition following last year’s successful event and the VE Day celebrations. 

A total of 61 attendees including service users, and staff joined the celebration. Christmas jumpers were out in full force, with friendly competition and plenty of excitement building in the days leading up to the event. 

“We were thrilled to be invited back again this year,” Mandy, Service Lead said. “Everyone was talking for days about what they were going to wear, and the jumpers certainly didn’t disappoint!” 

The afternoon was made extra special with a surprise visit from Aleksander the Meerkat, much to the delight of service users who eagerly wanted to have their photo taken with the well-known mascot. The atmosphere was filled with laughter, festive cheer and the unmistakable start of Christmas spirit. 

As the evening ended, each guest headed home with a goody bag to round off a memorable celebration.
