Age UK Norwich Continues Free Health Coaching in Lowestoft to Help Over 50s Stay Active and Independent

Following the success of its first Mobility Matters group earlier this year, Age UK Norwich is delighted to announce the continuation of its free Health Coaching and Mobility Programme for residents aged 50 and over in the Lowestoft area.
Funded by Active Suffolk, the Mobility Matters programme supports older adults to improve strength, flexibility, balance, and overall wellbeing. It is designed to help participants move with more confidence, manage long-term health conditions, and enjoy a more active lifestyle.
The eight-week course at The Olive Centre, Clapham Road South, Lowestoft, NR32 1QS, offers both individual health coaching and friendly group exercise classes in a welcoming, social environment.
Programme Details

1-2-1 Personalised Coaching
Participants may be eligible for tailored health coaching sessions, providing one-to-one advice, exercises, and wellbeing support to help meet personal mobility goals.

Group Exercise Classes – Open to All
- Sit Fit: 1:30 PM – 2:15 PM
- Sit-2-Stand Fit: 2:30 PM – 3:15 PM
Both classes are gentle, inclusive, and ideal for anyone looking to stay active in a safe, supportive space, perfect for beginners or those rebuilding strength after illness or inactivity.
Eligibility for 1-2-1 Coaching
- Aged 50 or over
- Resident with an NR32 or NR33 postcode
- Subject to health screening and individual assessment
