Fundraisers Lace Up for Run Norwich 2025

Published on 08 September 2025 10:19 AM

We're celebrating three incredible fundraisers who laced up their trainers and took part in Run Norwich 2025, helping to raise vital funds for older people across our city.

We want to say a huge thank you to our runners for their determination, energy, and commitment to supporting older people in Norwich. Every mile they completed helps us continue our mission: ensuring that no one has to face later life alone.

Why Fundraising Matters

The money raised through events like Run Norwich goes directly towards life-changing local services that make a daily difference:

  • £5 keeps our Advice Line open, offering vital support when it’s needed most.
  • £10 gives someone a place at a Club, reducing loneliness and building meaningful connections.
  • £15 funds a Health Coach session, helping someone to regain strength and confidence after a fall or serious illness.

Fundraising is the heartbeat of Age UK Norwich. It enables us to reach more people, extend our services, and ensure that older people in Norwich can live independently, with dignity, and with companionship.

“Taking part in Run Norwich for Age UK Norwich was such an amazing experience. The atmosphere on the day was incredible, and knowing that every step I took was helping older people, such as my grandparents, made it even more special. I’d encourage anyone thinking about it to give it a go!” - Age UK Norwich fundraiser

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to our fundraisers and to everyone who cheered them on or donated. Together, we are making Norwich a better place to grow older.
