Later Life Provider Network - Transport Report: A Lifeline in Later Life
Transport can be a lifeline in later life - it helps keep people independent, healthy, active, and connected. It’s a key pillar of an age friendly society and with Norfolk & Waveney having one of the oldest populations in the country, it’s something we need to protect and improve.
As part of the Later Life Provider Network, we recently asked over 50s for their views on local transport. They didn’t hold back in telling us the good, the bad and the ugly!
Click below to read our report. It outlines the results of the survey, and recommendations for making transport in Norfolk & Waveney better for older people. We’ll now be working with councils and organisations locally to try and turn our recommendations into reality.
