Support our Men in Sheds by donating your unwanted tools, equipment and timber

We are always in need of good quality wood-working tools, equipment and timber for Men in Sheds - our ground-breaking project that supports older men who want to get together, share and learn new skills all in the welcoming setting of a workshop. More importantly, this project also supports older men who are isolated or disengaged from their community or are experiencing major changes in life.

We provide the shed (a workshop), tools and equipment and a team of volunteers for support - but the members take part in the day-to-day running of the shed and decide on activities they want to follow including woodworking, skills sharing and socialising. Essentially, through taking control and ownership of the shed, the shed members are empowered.

So if you, or a family member, have timber that is of no use to you in your own shed or garages, or you've replaced your old tools and equipment with new ones, don't just throw them away! We can put your donated items into good use to make creative works of art, ornaments and small furniture. All products made by our shed members are sold to raise vital funds to help sustain the project.
