innocent Big Knit 2027

We need Plymouth's woolpower once again!

The much loved innocent Big Knit campaign is returning for another year, and we're thrilled to once again be calling on our fantastic knitting and crochet community in Plymouth to help make it our biggest year yet!

For those new to the campaign, the Big Knit is a nationwide partnership between innocent drinks and Age UK. Every tiny woolly hat lovingly made and placed on a bottle of innocent smoothie helps raise money to support older people across the country. For every hatted smoothie sold, innocent donates 30p to Age UK, helping to fund vital services, information, advice and support for older people who need it most.

Last year's campaign exceeded all our expectations. Thanks to the incredible generosity and creativity of our local knitters, Plymouth produced an astonishing 4,799 little hats, raising £1,439.70 for Age UK Plymouth. We were blown away by the response and are so grateful to everyone who picked up their needles to take part.

Back... and bigger than ever

This year, innocent is back - and so are we! Inspired by last year's success, we've decided it's time to dream even bigger. Last year, our target was 2,500, but Plymouth's woolpower proved we could do much better than that!

Age UK Plymouth's little hat target for 2026/27 is... 8,000!

Every hat makes a difference, and we love seeing the imagination and care that goes into every single one.
