GARDENING The minimum visit time for Gardening is 1 1/2 hours (£45). There is a £20 Initial Assessment fee for all new clients. HANDYPERSON The minimum visit time for handyperson is 30 minutes (£20).
Please note, this service is not available outside Age UK Plymouth - Head Office's catchment area.

We have, within our Help at Home team, a Gardening and Handyperson team who can help with small jobs around your home or even garden.
Services
Our Gardening and Handyperson Team can undertake basic gardening such as cutting the lawn, weeding, planting flowers, path clearance etc. You can book a one-off visit or regular visits to suit your needs. All of our gardeners have their own equipment.
We can also help with odd jobs such as changing light bulbs, hanging curtains or with minor household maintenance.

Our teams have received the following training:
PPE | Covid-19 | GDPR | Equality & Diversity | Moving & Handling | Lone Working | COSHH | Food Hygiene | Health & Safety | First Aid | Mental Capacity | Fire Safety Awareness | Safeguarding | Working at Heights | Lantra (approved in the safe use of strimmers and hedge cutters)
In addition the Gardening and Handyperson Team are all fully trained in the operation of power tools.
