Advocacy team receive quality mark

Age UK Shropshire Telford & Wrekin advocacy staff with their Quality Performance Mark certificate

Age UK Shropshire Telford & Wrekin’s advocacy team have received the prestigious Quality Performance Mark for a third time.

The Quality Performance Mark is in recognition of the team’s high quality service, helping and supporting people with a wide range of issues from social care to housing.

‘This is great news for us,’ said Rob Smith, Age UK Shropshire Telford & Wrekin’s Information & Advice Manager. ‘It’s always good to have this kind of official recognition. This is the third time that we’ve been awarded this QPM so we really do take pride in this achievement.’

‘It’s very satisfying to have our hard work recognised and hopefully it says something about the quality of the service we offer people seeking advice on housing issues, social care issues, and things like applying for the Blue Badge to make car-parking a lot easier.’
