It's Volunteers' Week (1-7 June) and Chair of Age UK Shropshire Telford & Wrekin, Sue Robson sends her thanks for the huge contribution our volunteers make.
The volunteers at Age UK Shropshire Telford & Wrekin are the lifeblood of our charity, providing much needed support to older people across the county. We are a local charity and we simply couldn’t offer the range of support services we do without them. Whether they are helping older people claim the benefits they’re entitled to, providing a great day out at one of our day centres or befriending isolated people in their community, our volunteers really make a difference to the lives of local older people.
