Feel like getting active this winter? Walking is great exercise and we’re frequently told that doing 10,000 steps a day has many health benefits. Why not challenge yourself to keep fit while raising money to help Age UK Shropshire Telford & Wrekin offer friendship, advice, and practical support to older people in your community?

What you’ll need to do:

  1. Decide where you’re going to walk, when you’ll be doing it and the distance you’ll be covering.
  2. Ask for sponsorship from friends and family, set up a JustGiving page using this link: and tell everyone what you’re doing and why.
  3. Wrap Up & Walk!
  4. Feel good knowing that the money you’ve raised will help make a life changing difference to older people in your area.
