The Advice Hubs bring together a wide range of voluntary sector organisations to provide you with services to meet your individual needs.

The types of issues we can support with include benefits, debt, health and social care, disability, keeping warm, direct payments, being a carer. Whatever your needs are we will help you to find support.

Appointments only: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 2.00 - 4.00pm

Reporting Hate Crime

Age UK Solihull is one of a number of Hate Crime independent reporting centres in Solihull.

Hate Crime is a criminal offence; identified as any incident which is perceived by the victim or any other person to be motivated by prejudice against someone's sex, racial heritage, religion, disability or sexual orientation.

It can include:

- verbal abuse and harassment
- threats and intimidation
- physical assault and violence including sexual violence
- psychological and emotional violence
- property damage
- graffiti
- offensive mail and literature

Hate Crime is unacceptable. DO NOT SUFFER IN SILENCE.

If you suffer or witness hate Crime, you can talk about the incident in strict confidence with a trained advisor at Age UK Solihull. You will receive appropriate advice and support, and the advisor at Age UK Solihull can even report incidents to the police on your behalf in confidence and with your consent.

Debt Advice and Casework

Age Concern Solihull t/a Age UK Solihull is authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) to provide not-for-profit Debt Counselling and Debt Adjusting Services. Age UK Solihull FCA Registration Number 972702. Where you consent to a referral to Oasis Mental Health Support for Debt Advice or Casework this will be carried out under the Oasis Mental Health Support FCA authorisation, Registration Number 784680. Oasis Mental Health Support is a subcontractor to Age UK Solihull for the provision of specialist Debt Advice and Casework for Solihull residents with mental health illness and disability. You can find the Age UK Solihull Complaints Policy related to FCA regulated services below.

Complaints relating to Oasis Mental Health Support FCA regulated services should be made to Oasis Mental Health Support directly. Age UK Solihull aims to ensure all advice provided by its partners/subcontractors is of a high quality and meets the needs of individuals. Debt Advice and Casework is a regulated activity and is subject to the partner/subcontractor own policies, procedures and insurance cover.
