Besides helping older people to claim welfare benefits, our Information and Advice team provide free information & advice on a variety of topics by answering over 4000 telephone enquiries a year from older people, their relatives and carers. Referrals are also taken from Social Services and health professionals.

Our lines are open Monday to Thursday, 9am - 1pm. Outside of these hours the Age UK national helpline is available: 0800 678 1602.
Email and postal enquiries are welcomed and are usually answered within 48 hours. Further help may be given by writing letters, or contacting a third party if requested.
