£8.50 per hour

As people grow older, they may find it difficult to do those everyday things that were once so easy. Going out to the shops, housework, cooking - it can all become a bit overwhelming, and this can have an effect on physical and mental health.

helping hands

As a Support Worker with our Help at Home service, you will support older people with those little things that make a big difference. Working flexible, part-time hours, you can help them with a variety of tasks including:

  • Shopping
  • Cleaning
  • Cooking
  • Managing appointments
  • Companionship and social activities

There is no personal care involved.

If you have 10 - 20 hours available per week and have experience of working with older people or in a caring role, we would love to hear from you.

A Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS, formally known as a Criminal Records Bureau (CRB)) check is required as you would be working with vulnerable people.
