Knit for North Yorkshire

BBC Radio York are looking for people to help knit as many scarves as possible this winter.
They are hoping to collect 1,000 scarves. They can be any size, any pattern, knitted or crochet. They will even accept the occasional snood or shawl.
Once collected, they will go to Age UK, food banks, and various homelessness charities who will distribute them to the people they work with.
Get involved
Scarves will be collected until midday on Saturday 16 December.
More details of collection points where you can drop your creations off will be announced
