Will Writing and Lasting Power of Attorney
Here at Age UK York in Walmgate and Haxby we do a simple will writing service. We are also able to offer lasting power of attorney. Prices start from £75.
It is an uncomplicated service so no worries that it will be a daunting experience.
The type of information that we need are names and addresses and dates of birth of any family friends or charities that you will be leaving your estate to.
You would also need to nominate an Executor or Executors (you can have one Executor or many Executors) and an Executor can be a beneficiary so it can be a family member i.e. son, daughter or even a friend.
An Executor is a nominated person that will be able to enter your property and sort out your personal belongings and they will also make sure that your wishes are adhered to and your estate is distributed as you have stated in your will.
There is no need to worry about finding people to witness your will for you as we do all of this within our service.
