"I would say around 50% of my work involves fitting key safe boxes for people, which allows family members or even emergency service personnel to have a spare key for people's property should there be an emergency where they need to get in. The other 50% is general door and window repair work. As well as getting work directly from the Age UK Bradford District site, I believe that being a member has also helped me with building customers trust from other sources too.
I believe in providing the exact price to the customer over the phone prior to coming to the job, which, would you believe, is very uncommon in this industry. I like to ensure that there are no surprises and allow people to compare so that they get the best price. Many people also ask me if I do other general handy work,which I do sometimes do depending on how busy I am."
