The Longest Wait to Leave

Age UK’s latest report, The Longest Wait to Leave, shows that older people can experience harm at every stage of their journey into, through and out of hospital again, because of unwarranted delays.

Age UK Bristol is calling on the Government and NHS leaders to take urgent action to tackle delayed hospital discharges among older people.  Only by doing so can we hope to end long waits in A&E and corridor care.
