Warm Homes Programme – How Age UK BRWF can help

Published on 05 October 2022 03:52 PM

Age UK Bromsgrove, Redditch & Wyre Forest are pleased to be taking part in this year’s Warm Homes Programme which aims to help older people to stay warm and well through the winter months.

A key part of the programme is about helping to increase older people's income through Benefit Entitlement Checks:

  • Age UK's Benefits Calculator is a free, online tool that can help people to identify benefits that they may be entitled to. You can access the tool here
  • Age UK BRWF’s Information & Advice team are also here to help. Our advisors can help older people living in Bromsgrove, Redditch and Wyre Forest with identifying benefits that they are entitled to but aren’t claiming (or are claiming at an incorrect rate) and to help ensure that they are receiving the financial help that they are entitled to. Our team can also offer support with completing application forms to claim benefits

If you would like to arrange a Benefits Check, please call our team on 01527 570490 (Monday to Friday, 9am – 4pm – a message service is available out-of-hours) or email enquiries@ageukbrwf.org.uk.

In addition to Benefits Checks, our trained Information & Advice Advisors can offer help and support on a range of topics including social care, later life planning and pensions advice, staying safe and independent at home, as well as support for carers so please get in touch and let us see how we can help.
