Whether you’re brand new to the internet or you just want a bit of help doing more online, Get Online Week will help you take your next step.

On this Get Online Week, we urge you to 'Try 1 Thing' - use the internet to do just one thing. It could be one thing you’d normally do in a shop, in a doctor’s or chemist or even over the phone.

Going online offers many benefits. The internet is a great place to learn, share experiences, keep in touch with friends and family, play and be entertained. It can help you save money, save time, and make life easier and more fun.

However if you’re not confident using a computer, tablet or smartphone or you’ve heard about some of the dangers of being online it can be difficult to take that next step. Even if you send the odd email, read the news on your phone or use Whatsapp, it can still be scary taking the leap to doing more online.

But getting the most out of the internet doesn’t have to be scary. Doing just one new thing online is all you need to do to get started.

Drop in on Wednesday 2pm- 4.30pm at Warners End Community Centre, Northridge Way, Hemel Hempstead, Herts HP1 3QG and try your new thing online. A friendly team will be there to provide help and advice.
