Dear All,

Thank you for the community minded spirit regarding supporting the vulnerable during these exceptional times.

Age UK Dacorum is very much at the frontline in supporting older people and their carers with regard to providing certain essential items to the vulnerable people in our area.

Age UK Dacorum would be grateful for any donations during its office hours  ( 9am – 4pm Monday to Friday) Half Moon Yard, High Street, Hemel Hempstead, Herts HP1 3AE  or at

Please only bring them, if you have these items spare and do not go out specially to buy them, as this will only exacerbate the present ‘supermarket situation’.

Please only come during these times where you’ll be met at the door by a staff member, so you do not have to enter the venue and please do not leave anything outside.

Also note we are not seeking to divert resources from the existing good work of other organisations like Food Bank, Dens etc.

Volunteers

We do have a need for volunteers, to both help deliver these items to the vulnerable and also in some other ways like prescription delivery, posting mail etc.

Pre-requisites: You must already have proof of a current DBS certificate and you have to go through our safeguarding requirements.
