Boxmoor Good Neighbours celebrate Jubilee!

Boxmoor Good Neighbours gathered together to celebrate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee!

Boxmoor Good Neighbours is a scheme launched by residents of Boxmoor to support older neighbours in the community and is supported by Age UK Dacorum.

For the Queens Platinum Jubilee neighbours in Boxmoor celebrated in the beautiful sunshine! A gazebo with tables and chairs was set up on Blackbird's Moor at the Boxmoor Cricket Club, the grounds providing the perfect backdrop.

Volunteers served welcome drinks and lunch boxes that contained a mixture or sandwiches, savouries, and homemade cakes that the team prepared.

Neighbours enjoyed a mixture of entertainment, music, a Royal Quiz, The Fly Past and for the finale they sang the National Anthem and toasted the Queen with a glass of bubbly!
