Handyperson & Gardening Scheme

Handyperson 

Our Handyperson service will be available to all older people living in Hertfordshire.

Our team of Handy people have had a DBS check, are fully insured, and will arrive with a smile and equipment needed to complete the job safely and to a high standard.
We can arrange regular visits or one-off basic DIY tasks to help with the following:
• Install curtain poles and window blinds
• Build flat pack furniture
• Install grab rails
• Wall Hangings
• Install keysafes
(all materials should be supplied by the client).
Please note we are not qualified tradespeople, therefore we are unable to help with elements of plumbing, electrical work, painting and decorating, general building and carpentry.

Gardening 

Our Gardening service is available to all older people living in Hertfordshire to keep gardens neat and tidy all year round.

Our gardeners have had a DBS check and are fully insured. They will arrive with the equipment needed to complete the job safely and to a high standard.
We can arrange weekly, fortnightly, monthly, or one-off visits throughout the year for help with basic jobs such as the following:

• Lawn mowing
• Strimming
• Leaf raking/blowing
• General tidy up of the garden

We are a ground-based service and are therefore unable to work at heights above 8ft. Please ensure any animal faeces are cleared from the garden before the gardener commences the work.
