Mobile Phone Contracts

Age UK London has partnered with VirginO2 who have recently released some research that looks at how consumers are overpaying for their smartphones.

This is particularly affecting the over 65’s age group.

The research shows that this overpayment problem is costing people over the age of 65 on average £170 every year and collectively over £87m.  

VirginO2 has created the attached explainer sheet which outlines the problems and how some people are paying more than they should for their mobile.

Perhaps this is an opportunity to check you mobile contract to make sure you are getting the best deal.
