Our 2025 AGM was held on Wednesday 26th November.

Chief Executive Christopher Duff opened our 29th Annual General Meeting at Moulton Community Centre in Northampton and gave an overview of the work of the charity over the past year.  He thanked everyone for attending, especially as our event clashed with the Chancellor's Autumn Budget.   "We are in challenging times and there is a lot less money around than there was when I joined Age UK Northamptonshire as Chief Executive nearly eight years ago," he said.

"In that time the Age UK network has shrunk, with several local Age UKs going into liquidation and having to close, and the gap between the larger Age UKs and the smaller ones has got bigger.

Age UK Northamptonshire continues to support more people than ever before but that comes at a cost.  We are having to invest in alternative income streams and to seek out innovative ways of raising funds.

But there is a lot to be positive about and we will continue to support ever more clients who need us.  I would particularly like to thank The William and Patricia Venton Trust and The Travis Trust for their valuable support."
