We’ve supported Age UK's campaigning for months for more financial support for pensioners, so the Chancellor's announcement of a big package of support will come as a relief to many people. If you’re a pensioner, the minimum you’ll receive is £700 to help with your bills this year and if you’re a disabled pensioner on means-tested benefits, you’ll get up to £1,650. If you’re below State Pension age, you will still get at least £400 off your bills.
