Our services cover the whole of the county

In January Age UK Northamptonshire was pleased to join Aude [pictured above] from Homelium Care at their two Caring Through The Cold events in Northampton and Roade.  We are always glad to provide information about our our services to local people and to give out leaflets.  Aude had organised the two events to raise awareness of Homelium Care in Northampton and also to donate a free, cosy blanket to everyone who came along.

At the end of January staff from our Community Responder Volunteer Service represented Age UK Northamptonshire at the NHS MSK community event at Lings Forum in Northampton.  Kirsty [pictured with Specialist Physiotherapist Steve] answered questions about our services, focusing on how we work with the NHS to keep older people safe.  She also provided information on setting up Lasting Power of Attorney, Careline 365 lifelines and keysafes. 

In February Caroline, Jo, Emma and Roger were pleased to attend a health and wellbeing event for residents at Rosewood Court in Northampton, organised by Lisa and Rene of ExtraCare.  Whether you live in a care home, sheltered accommodation, your own home or with relatives, we will do our best to provide the support that enables you to make the most of later life.
