Every little hat helps raise vital funds!

Celebrating 20 years of little hats

Thank you to all our lovely knitting supporters who have sent us 20,000 hats over the past two years and helped raise £5,000 for older people in Northamptonshire.

We have joined in the Big Knit campaign every year since it began in 2003 and believe it is a fun way for knitters (expert and newbies) to help older people in the community.

Age UK, the national charity based in London, tell us that the grand total of all hats sent to them for the Big Knit Campaign in the whole of the UK (including hats sent directly to Innocents offices) is an amazing 1,637,870 hats.

Look out for the hats on smoothies

The behatted smoothies are now in the shops and will be around until March 2023.

We have provided extra support to older people in Northamptonshire who had no one to help them locally during the coronavirus pandemic.  We hope to carry on making a difference for many years to come. This has been a difficult time for many charities and we appreciate your support.

Please call us on 01604 611200 if you'd like to get involved.  You can still post your little hats to us at The William and Patricia Venton Centre, York Road, Northampton NN1 5QJ but they will not count towards this year's campaign.

Thank you to all our knitting supporters!

We've seen hats on smoothies in Sainsbury's, Morrisons and the Co-op.
