Please help safeguard the future of older people by remembering Age UK Northamptonshire in your Will. Every gift will help make a difference for years to come.
We rely greatly on the gifts and legacies that are left by our supporters. A large part of our voluntary income comes from legacies and yours could play an important role in protecting the welfare of older people throughout Northamptonshire.
Many older people do not have relatives living nearby who are able to help them. Often people feel isolated and don't know where to turn to. In the April 2015 to March 2016 financial year, for example, our Information & Advice Service answered 8,000 different queries. 2,000 of these were about benefits and 954 were for advice on finding a residential care home. 1,300 people needed advice on finding help with personal care or other support which would enable them to stay in their own home.
Our advisers helped older people in Northamptonshire be paid £2.4 million in benefits that would otherwise have gone unclaimed.
To leave a legacy in your Will to Age UK Northamptonshire, please ensure that you state the full charity name “Age UK Northamptonshire” and the registered charity number 1059995 on all paperwork.
