Our Cancellation Policy

We recognise that on occasion it may be necessary to cancel your service appointment or day care attendance.

Failure to give sufficient notice will result in you being charged for the service.
An unexpected medical emergency or hospital admission will not incur a charge.

Care Support at Home

• If you need to cancel an appointment please provide us with five working days notice.
• To cancel an appointment please ring 01604 611210.
• A message can be left outside of normal office hours.

Day Care

• A day care attendance cancelled on the day will usually incur a charge.
• Please endeavour to give at least 48 hours notice if possible.
• To cancel an appointment please ring 01604 611200.
• A message can be left outside of normal office hours.
• You will be invoiced for the session unless there are exceptional circumstances that prevented you (or your carer/family member) from giving sufficient notice.
• If the transport has not been cancelled and has arrived at your door this will incur an additional charge.
• Please be mindful that an unmade cancellation may prevent other clients from attending the day centre.

Home Care Cleaning Service

• If you need to cancel an appointment, please provide us with five working days notice.

• A message can be left outside of normal office hours.

Toenail Cutting Service

• If you need to cancel an appointment please provide us with five working days notice.
• To cancel an appointment please ring 01604 611200.
• A service cancelled on the day of the appointment will usually incur a charge.
• You will be invoiced for the visit unless there are exceptional circumstances that prevented you (or your carer/family member) from giving sufficient notice.

It will occasionally be necessary for Age UK Northamptonshire to change your booked appointment.  If this is necessary, we will give you as much notice as possible.  We will re-book your appointment at a mutually convenient time.
