Our 80th Birthday
Celebrating our 80th Anniversary
2025 marked Age UK Norwich’s 80th birthday, celebrating eight decades of community work. We aimed to raise £80,000, and throughout the year we held a programme of events, fundraising activities, exhibitions and more to share our history and work with the wider Norwich community. From bake sales and quizzes to golf days and historical exhibitions, there was something for everyone in our year of events.
We are pleased to say that we exceeded our target, but we continue to fundraise as every penny supports our incredibly important work, making Norwich an age-friendly and inclusive city, and helping people to age with pride.
Supporters did not miss the opportunity to engage with our work and discover why we were still desperately needed by people over 50 in the region, even 80 years on.
